Submissions to present a paper or poster at the 2024 International Symposium on Plant Lipids are now being accepted. The deadline for submission of a paper abstract to be considered for an oral presentation is May 1, 2024, and the deadline for submitting a poster abstract is June 15, 2024. Selected paper and poster presenters will be notified within two weeks following the established deadlines. Final confirmation as a selected presenter is contingent on the completion of conference registration.
Submissions will be accepted in the following categories/topic areas:
- Fatty acids and glycerolipids: biosynthesis, modification, biosynthetic evolution
- Triacylglycerol: metabolism, biosynthetic regulation, and storage
- Extra-plastidic membrane lipids: phospholipids, sterols, sphingolipids
- Plastidic lipids: glycolipids, phospholipids, isoprenoids
- Surface lipids: biosynthesis and regulation of plant protection
- Trafficking of lipids within and among cells and tissues
- Lipid signaling: molecules, metabolism, mechanisms
- Plant lipids in abiotic and biotic stress resilience
- Emerging methods for lipid research and crop design
- Lipid biotechnology: oilseeds, algae, vegetative organs, emerging platforms
